Sadbhawana Divas Observed in Assam

GUWAHATI, Aug 20: Along with rest of the country, Sadbhawana Diwas was observed on Monday in Assam to commemorate the 74th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India Lt Rajiv Gandhi.

On the occasion, State’s Chief Secretary TY Das administered an oath to the officials and staff of the Assam Secretariat, through which the people pledged to work for emotional oneness and harmony amongst all.

Sadbhawana Divas was also observed at the headquarters of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations in Dispur. Additional Director Pradeep Brahma administered the oath to the officials and staff of the directorate.
