Sainik School Society IO visits proposed sites for Sainik School

KOKRAJHAR: Commodore G Rambabu, Inspecting Officer, Sainik School Society, Ministry of Defence on Thursday visited Kokrajhar and inspected the sites for the proposed Sainik School to be set up in Kokrajhar district.

Rambabu inspected the open fields of Puthumari village and Haloadola village and took details of these plots of land from the BTC authority and the facilities available like electricity, transportation, medical, drinking water and security from the departmental heads. He will submit his land survey report at Sainik School Society, Ministry of Defence for selection of one amongst these two sites as soon as possible.

BTC Principal Secretary Biren Chandra Phukan, Additional Principal Secretary Rabinson Mochahary, secretary Dharanidhar Boro, Joint Secretary Arun Kr. Basumatary, DIPRO-Gagan Chandra Narzary and other departmental officials were present during his inspection.
