Salakati Shramik Union conference concludes

Kokrajhar, May 31: The first biennial conference of the Salakati Shramik Union concluded at Durga Mandir ground, NTPC Salakati in Kokrajhar on Sunday.

Shyam Sunday, BTC executive member, Labour and Employment department, graced the open session as chief guest, with Derhasat Basumatary, former BTC EM in the chair.

The session discussed various issues like labour wage, job security to the local people in the NTPC projects at Salakati in Kokrajhar district.

A new committee of the union was formed with Derhasat Basumatary as president along with 21 executive members for next three years.
