Salma to represent India in Washington peace programme

Boko, June 13: Salma Hussain, a young girl from Sontoli, a very remote village in Boko LAC, has been selected for the Peace Programme, 2018 at Andi Leadership Institute for Young Women in Washington DC, USA. According to Salma, the institute selects eight girls from all over world every year and this time Salma has been selected for the programme and she will represent India. She is very happy and excited for the programme. She also added that during the discussion of peace process, she would emphasize more on communal conflicts between two communities in the Assam as well as in India to find out peace solutions. On this occasion, Nazma- Hira Memorial Public School students and teachers felicitated Salma Hussain. Salma was also felicitated by former State Health Minister Dr. Kamala Kalita.
