Santu emerges as sole leader

GUWAHATI, June 19: Santu Mandal has taken sole lead by scoring 7.5 points from 8 rounds in 6th Jugal Kishore Newatia Intertiol Fide Rating Chess Tourment held at Terapth Bhawan in the city today. In the 8th Round game Santu today earned full points beating Laltu Chatterjee of West Bengal. Intertiol Master Arghyadip Das of West Bengal and Y.Dhabir Singh of Manipur are following the leader with 7 points each.
