School student commits suicide

Itagar, Oct 26: Close on the heels of the suicide incident of a RGU student, another similar case was reported in the state capital where a 17-year-old girl of Arunodaya School hung herself to death at her neighbour’s apartment at Ganga village here, on Tuesday morning.

Kenbi Taba the deceased, a tive of Sogum village in Likabali was living with her aunt in a rented apartment, located opposite to the SP’s office here. According to police, Kenbi hung herself in her neighbor’s apartment which is in the same building where she used to live with her aunt. The neighbor had left his keys with the family as he was out of town for a few days. When her aunt could not find Kenbi in their apartment, she searched anxiously for her till she found her lifeless body hanging by the ceiling fan. That was when the police were informed, disclosed SI S Nishant.
