Science extempore speech held

DOOMDOOMA, Oct 17: A district- level competition of science-based poster drawing, extempore speech and model-making were organized by Tinsukia District   Aryabhatta Science Centre (TDASC) at Dangari HS School recently where around 70 students from seven different blocks of the district took part. The programme got off to a colorful start with hoisting of the TDASC flag by BDO, Saikhowa Development Block, Khitish Kakati. After completion of the competitions in three different events, valedictory function was held with Dr Mee Devi Baruah, Vice-President, TDASC, in the chair.  Baikuntha Bhuyan, Principal, Dangari HS School, Jiten Sharma, President, Tinsukia District tiol Children Science Congress (TDNCSC), Academic Co-orditor, Manoj Dutta and litterateur, Sarat Chiringphukan addressed the gathering while from among the evaluators of the competition, Abhijit Khataniar and Rajendra Sahani addressed the students.
