KALIABOR, July 18: Scorching heat made the life of people miserable in Kaliabor on Tuesday. There was no respite from the blazing sun as there was no breeze blowing anywhere. To get rid of the heat, most of the people remained indoors in the noon time. Fluctuating voltage of electricity accentuated the suffering of the people at Kaliabor Tiniali. People opined that tree felling for the construction of the four-lane NH 37 and NH 37A from gaon to Tezpur via Kaliabor had led to excessive summer heat this season.
