Scribe's demise condoled

DHEKIAJULI, Jan 4: Senior correspondent of Dhekiajuli, Chandra Kanta Goswami died on Sunday at his residence. He was suffering from prolonged ailment. He was 52. In the early 80s Goswami started working as a correspondent for Mahajati from Tezpur and Ajir Asom. Since the past few years he had been working as a correspondent Asomiya Khabar from Dhekiajuli. He was also an assistant teacher of Rastrabhasha High School, Dhekiajuli. The Dhekiajuli Press Club will fly its flag at half mast for three days as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
