SD Singh appointed new CMD, BVFCL

mrup, Sept 30: Shyam Deo Singh has assumed the charge of chairman and Maging Director of Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited with effect from September 29.

Shyam Deo Singh was born in Parasauni village of Sahara district, Bihar on January 2, 1959. He is basically a Chemical Engineer from Bihar Institute of Technology (Dhanbad) and started his service journey as Assistant Materials Officer in erstwhile HFCL Barauni and subsequently on transfer he joined in mrup unit in January, 2002 as Deputy Material Mager. Afterwards, by virtue of his brilliant service, Singh achieved the board-level position in the company and joined as Director (Production) of BVFCL in October 1, 2012.

During his tenure of Director (Production) he was also shouldering the additiol responsibilities of CMD of the company till May 28, 2015.
