NAGAON, June 12: Nagaon district magistrate on Tuesday promulgated 144 CrPC in the entire district, especially for two wheelers, and banned two persons on a single two-wheeler with immediate effect till June 30. A press release issued by Nagaon DIPRO stated that it was promulgated because of some sort of activities of some miscreants and some suspected militant groups in the district. But in case of minor or woman, patient or aged people, differently-abled person and government employees, it was exempted.
