Security tightened in Dhubri ahead of Independence Day

DHUBRI, Aug 10: The security arrangements in and around Dhubri has been tightened ahead of the Independence Day. Section 144 has been imposed in order to thwart any untoward incident. Police and paramilitary forces are on vigil along the Assam-Meghalaya border as well as the Indo-Bangla border in Dhubri.
