Seizure of illicit liquor

Shillong, April 7: The West Garo Hills, Excise Department informed that during the months of February and March, twenty bootleggers were arrested in raids conducted in Tura and its surrounding areas and their illicit wares seized. A total of 12 cases were disposed off and a fine amounting to Rs. 6,600/- was also realized.
