Several road mishaps reported from across State

SHILLONG, April 3: Walking on the side of the road, two pedestrian sustained injuries after they were hit by a Maruti Eeco.
The incident happened near Sanker junction at Mawlai Mawroh in Shillong on April 2, at 6:40 P.M.
The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Shillong helped in shifting Donboklamg L. Nongpiur (17) and Albinson Sohtun (17) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
A motorist along with a pillion rider sustained injuries when the motorbike was involved in a collision with an auto rickshaw at 15th Mile under Umling Block in Ri Bhoi District.
The motorbike was heading towards Shillong from Guwahati when the collision happened at 1:55 P.M. on April 2.
The Emergency Service based in Byrnihat helped in shifting the motorist, Thapan Bordoloi (40) and the pillion rider, Kitar Dorbori (30)) to Byrnihat PHC and then to Downtown Hospital in Guwahati.
In another incident a Shillong bound Maruti Alto (ML05F – 1389) was involved in a collision with a TATA Sumo travelling towards Nongstoin from Shillong.
Two occupant of the Maruti Alto sustained injuries when the collision happened at Mawroh under Mawthadraishan Block.
Emergency Service Ambulance based in West Khasi Hills District on April 2, 2017 at 1:42 P.M. Markasa helped in shifting Clean Sangma (29) and Hilban Sangma (33) to Tirot Singh Memorial Hospital, Mairang and then to Shillong Civil Hospital.
In another pedestrian related road mishap, three pedestrian were hit by a moving auto rickshaw near PTS in Mawlai Mawroh, Shillong on April 2, 2017 at 3:53 PM.
The Emergency Service Ambulance based in Shillong helped in shifting Magdalene Taro (21), Donkupar Marbaniang (30) and Suil Shira (37) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
Meanwhile, a driver along with three occupant of a Maruti car local taxi (ML05F - 5613) travelling towards Shillong from Sohra sustained injuries when the vehicle collided with another Maruti car (ML08 - 5566) coming from the opposite direction.
The incident happened at Lad Mawphlang under Laitkroh Block, East Khasi Hills District on 2nd April, 2017 at 3:09 P.M.
The driver, identified as Firstever Kharbteng (25) and the occupants, Ribok Kharkongor (18), Mangbha Kharbteng (7), and Turshaphrang Kharbteng (22) were later shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
