Several trains cancelled following heavy rain

GUWAHATI, May 2: In view of heavy rainfall leading to breach in many places in Lumding – Badarpur hill section, the NF railway has decided to further cancel the following trains: 55615 Guwahati - Silchar fast passenger scheduled to leave from Guwahati on May 3 and May 4 will remain cancelled. 55616 Silchar - Guwahati fast passenger scheduled to leave from Silchar on May 4 and May 5 will remain cancelled. 25657 Guwahati – Silchar Kanchanjungha Express scheduled to leave from Guwahati on May 3 will remain cancelled between Guwahati and Silchar. 25658 Silchar – Guwahati Kanchanjungha Express scheduled to leave from Silchar on May 4 will remain cancelled between Silchar and Guwahati. It will run between Guwahati and Sealdah, a press release stated.
