Shiv Kala Kristi Bhavan iugurated in Jorhat

JORHAT, June 6: Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi iugurated the newly-constructed Shiv Kala Kristi Bhavan in Gotonga Tea Garden in Jorhat on Saturday. The building has been constructed by the Planning and Development department at a cost of Rs 10 lakh. Gogoi said, “The State Government is taking an all-out effort for the development of tea garden people as well as the other backward people of the State and the Health, Education, Communication, Agriculture department are some of the departments that have undergone revolutiory changes and have contributed tremendously towards the development of the State.” The Chief Minister also informed about special schemes for the tea garden students. Also present in today’s meet were representatives of the Cha Mazdoor Sangha and Cha Workers’ Association who felicitated the Chief Minister. Also in the same day the Assam Chief Minister took part in a public meeting at Melamati in Titabor Subdivision and distributed Family Identification Letters among the beneficiaries.
