Silchar to have 10 pink polling stations with female polling staff

Silchar: More power to women. A total number of 10 polling stations in Silchar constituency will have female polling staff. The technical term which is being used is ‘Pink’ Polling Booths. There will be female presiding officer, female polling staff and even female security personnel. It is to be mentioned here that all the 10 polling stations are situated in Silchar municipal area.
