Siukapha Divas observed

DEMOW, Dec 2: The All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU), Demow Regiol Committee observed Su-Ka-Pha Divas in Demow Playground on Saturdayevening.

The programme started with offering garland before the portrait of Su-Ka-Pha by Ajay Kumar Gogoi, secretary of Demow Press Club. After that earthen lamps were lit in front of the portrait of Su-Ka-Pha by Anil Kumar Dey, president of Demow Press Club and Bhupen Borgohain, senior citizen of Demow. In the presence of Tai pandits, Ai-Sing-Lao was performed.

On the occasion of Su-Ka-Pha Divas, Bijay Bishal, an artist of Demow, released an audio CD titledKalpa in Demow Public Playground which was iugurated by Ajay Kumar Gogoi, secretary of Demow Press Club. The whole programme was anchored by Chao Jayanta Gogoi, president of ATASU, Demow Regiol Committee. In the programme, the ATASU activists of Demow Regiol Committee along with other dignitaries were present.
