Joysagar, Dec 15: Grand arrangement is going on to hold the Sri Sri Maha Shivaratri Utsav in historic Sivasagar by the district administration in collaboration with the Sivasagar Temple Development Board authorities. A press meet was held in this regard where Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner N. Konwar presided over the meeting. DC Konwar in his speech briefed about the plan of holding the Sri Sri Maha Shivaratri Utsav in Sivasagar town on February 13 to February 17. Devotees from Russia, Chi, France and Sri Lanka are expected to take part in the festival. A celebration committee has been formed with Deputy Commissioner Konwar as president. All the cultural activities will be held in Sivasagar Boarding Field and many other sub-urban places of historic Sivasagar.
