Six Assam players in semi finals

GUWAHATI, June 6: The boys and girls under 12 and 14 years singles semi finals of the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament will be held on Thursday at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex, Chachal. Jigyashman Hazarika and Manan Nath of Assam has stormed into the semi finals of both boys under 12 and 14 years events. Top seed Andy Thaosen of Assam also reached the semi finals in the boys under 14 years singles event. In the girls under 12 singles event 5th seed Namrata Das and 6th seed Snigdha Patibandla of Assam has reached into the last four. In the girls under 14 event Top seed Tanishqa Patar also from Assam has stormed into the semi finals. The boys and girls singles semi final matches will start from 8:30 AM on Thursday and these matches would be followed by the doubles finals.
