Sixth death anniversary of the Bard observed

BILASIPARA, Nov 5: Under the aegis of Dr Kanu Lal Das, a reputed physician and social worker, the sixth death anniversary of Dr Bhupen Hazarika was observed at Bilasipara on Sunday.

 In this connection reputed government pension holder artist and sculptor Prab Das garlanded the statue of Dr Bhupen Hazarika while Jagadanda Barkalita, advocate and president of Bilasipara Senior Citizens Forum, offered floral tribute. Dr. Kanulal Das, the donor of the statue, and Dayal Paul lit the ceremonial lamp.
