Social service on Children’s Day eve at Itanagar

ITANAGAR: On the eve of Children’s Day, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Sagalee S. Lowang along with girls from Government Higher Secondary School, Sagalee, RWD officers and staffs along with public of the area organized social service at Holiday inn here on Wednesday. Speaking to this daily Lowang said that Sagalee is a beautiful place and there are various areas where tourism potential is high.

“My determination is to make Sagalee as one of the cleanest sub-division in the state,” she said. She also requested the public of the area to be good as many of the windows of the Holiday inn are being broken by some unidentified miscreants. No doubt there is needing of security in the place thus will be holding patrolling of the premises in days to come, she added. Meanwhile the lessee of the inn Taba Anu informed that the land was his donated to the state government and according he applied for the lease and was granted. He also added that due to lack of few necessities like toilet and bathroom the inn is very less used by any tourist or the locals of the state. “Though the inn is looked up by me on lease there is need of tourist flow and few technical up gradation is needed,” he said.
