Stars of North East (SoNE) comes to rescue of talented student

GUWAHATI, JULY 15: Amidst penury and immense financial hardship, Sania Begum of Bor Rangmahal Village in North Guwahati passed her HSLC examination last year with letter marks in all subjects. As she immediately confronted the problem of admission in college due to poor economic condition, Stars of North East (SoNE) made an appeal for help for Sania. ‘Paltan Bazar Cousins’ came forward to bear all the expenses for Sania’s admission in Cotton College of Guwahati. While SoNE kept in touch with Sania’s family additional financial support for her tuition and other expenses was provided by raising raised funds once again. During a visit to Sania’s residence by SoNE members, fruits, sweets, gifts, a set of motivational books and a sum of Rs 10,000 was presented to Sania.

While this year, Sania passed her class XI exam with ‘A’ grade in all subjects, SoNE & ‘Paltan Bazar Cousins’ raised an aggregate amount of Rs 20,000 which was handed over to her at her residence at Bor Rongmohol village today. Meanwhile Sania expressed her desire to become a doctor.
