Sonowal announces ex gratia

GUWAHATI, June 17: Assam Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal today announced an ex gratia of Rs 1 lakh to the next of kin of each of the nine people of Assam who had been killed in an accident in West Jaintia Hill recently when the night bus they were travelling in fell into a 250-foot gorge. As many as 25 bodies were recovered from the site of the accident so far.
