Srikanth enters Swiss Open semis

Basel, March 13: Top Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth entered the men's singles semi-fils following his straight games win over Japanese eighth seed Takuma Ueda at the $120,000 Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold here on Friday.

The top seed won 21-11, 21-12 in 31 minutes at St. Jakobshalle to take a 2-1 lead over Ueda in career meetings.

In the last four, the World No.4 Srikanth will take on the winner of the match between Japan's Kazumasa Sakai and compatriot Ajay Jayaram. IANS
