State-level seminar on women empowerment at Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: A State-level seminar on women empowerment and changing scenario of women education will be organized by the women empowerment cell of Gossaigaon B.Ed. College on November 26 in collaboration with the Director of Education, Bodoland Territorial Council. This was informed by the Principal of Gossaigaon B.Ed. College, Ajit Boro.

He said the main objectives of the seminar would be to make women aware about domestic violence and ways to prevent it, to make women aware about superstitions, to make them aware about women trafficking and effective measures for prevention, and to make them aware about teaching as an important profession for living.
