TINSUKIA, May5: Expressing concern over forcible collection of money in the me of festival and religious function by some persons with vested interest, the Superintendent of Police of Tinsukia, Mugdha Jyoti Dev Mahanta, while issuing warning to these parties indulging in illegal collection of dotions from roadside vendors and business houses, urged upon the citizens of Tinsukia to inform police to facilitate lawful action against such persons either at the local police station or district police control room in the phone numbers-73990 25840 / 73990 25850 / 03742337858.
