Stress on bamboo based industries

Itanagar, May 4: Arunachal Pradesh Bamboo Resources Development Agency (APBRDA) chairman Yora Tagung recently attended a series of meeting at Krishi Bhawan in New Delhi and discussed some important issues pertaining to bamboo sector as well as setting up of bamboo based industries in the State. Tagung also had discussions with Joint Secretary of Union Agriculture ministry Dr Alka Bhardwaj and Assistant Commissioner of National Bamboo Mission Dr R K Meena. During the meeting the APBRDA chief pleaded with the ministry for setting up of bamboo-based industries in the State, keeping in view the huge bamboo resources.
