DEMOW: Financial hardship cannot prevent people from fulfilling their dreams. This has been proved by Taslima Nasrin, a resident of Laguabari near Demow, a student of Sunny Rose English High School and daughter of Shah Alam Borah, who secured star marks and 84 percent in the HSLC examination, 2019.

Due to the poor economic condition of her father, Taslima could not get adequate study materials but yet she secured 99 marks in Advanced Mathematics.

On the other hand, Niren Chutia, son of Tarun Chutia, a student of Sukanpukhuri High School near Demow and a resident of Dighaliya Hula, secured 80.75 percent in the HSLC examination, 2019.
