Sudden Inspection in Schools under Gohpur Subdivision in Assam

Gohpur/BISWANATH CHARIALI: Under the patronage of SDO (civil) as well as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Biswanath district, Dr Indranoshee Das, a team comprising the Circle Officer of Gohpur revenue circle, Romi Baruah, Circle Officer of Halem, Biman Das, Assistant Commissioner Rinku Boro and other officers visited 29 schools and 22 Anganwadi centres under Gohpur subdivision recently. Dr. Indranoshee Das said that the sudden inspection was an endeavor to find out the problems in the schools and Anganwadi centres. During the visit, the officials detected some problems in the schools like insufficient number of toilets, unhygienic environment, poor attendance of students and irregular classes.

All reports of this inspection have been sent to the Sonitpur district elementary education officer, school inspectors of Biswanath district and social welfare officer of Sonitpur district.
