Hunger strike

GUWAHATI, June 11: Putuli Dutta , president of Dibrugarh District Social Welfare Development Committee, today staged 12-hour hunger strike at Dighalipukhuripaar in Guwahati seeking an end to the corrupt politics prevailed in the State. She also demanded expulsion of illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, solution of flood problem and border dispute besides checking of the destruction of Assam’s tural resources.
