Illegal timber seized

Hojai, April 9: Around 21 timber logs were seized by the Ranger of southern range of Kheroni in Hamren subdivision of Karbi Anglong district on Thursday. Dhan Sing Terang, the Ranger, after getting information of illegal timber being smuggled, went to the spot and bbed the smugglers.  Timber smugglers have been holding sway in Karbi Anglong reserve forests. Illegal trade of timber has been going on ubated in the hill district. Many valuable logs are being supplied to gaon district.
