Income Tax

Income Tax

The word “tax” has been defined by classical economists as a compulsory payment against which the citizens should expect to get nothing. When tax is understood in this way, there grows a general tendency to avoid payment of income tax. The people of the country should understand that there is a cost of governance. We require roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, colleges, universities, police, military and many others. These involve costs in such activities in maintaining governance. Income tax is one of main sources by which governments collect the amount of money from citizens. Income tax of salaried workers is transparent than the other groups as corporate groups, business owners, middlemen, pleaders, lawyers, politicians and others.

Thus, the other groups try to evade paying income tax.

But I would like to request all the citizens to pay income tax and not to evade paying any form of tax. The Government is nowadays very tight to look into the income of citizens. So, citizens should pay tax taking the tools of various income tax rebates, instead of evading tax.
