Road mishaps

SHILLONG, JUNE 2: A car (MLO5J – 7358) heading towards Sohra from Shillong hit a guard wall by the side of the road at Umtyngngar under Mylliem Block in East Khasi Hills.

 One person identified as Christi Khriem (61) was injured in the incident.

 In another incident, a Sumo (MLO4A – 9981) ferrying passengers from Shillong to Jowai was involved in a head on collision with another vehicle (MLO4A –7371) coming from the opposite direction. The driver of the car and a passenger travelling in the Sumo sustained injuries in the accident which took place at Pommura under Mawryngkneng Block in East Khasi Hills.
