Tax collection centres opened

TINSUKIA, Feb 10: The Tinsukia Municipal Board (TMB) in order to recover huge outstanding tax from general public has opened temporary collection centres in all the 15 wards and will be functiol from February 13. The venues are- for Ward no 2 at Sripuria Tili on February 13-14, while the corresponding places and dates are Meher Kalbari for Ward no 1 on February 15-16, DC Bhawan  for Ward no 3 on February 17 and February 20-21, for Ward no 4 Fishery Office on February 27-28, March 1for Ward no 5 at Balugada Nepali Mandir, March 2 to March 4 for Ward no 6 at State Bank Kalibari, March 22-23 for Ward no 7 at Mahesh Bhawan, for Ward nos 8 and 9 at Subachani Puja Mandir on March 9,10, 13 and March 14, for Ward nos 10 and 11 on March 15- March 17 at Rani Sati Mandir, for Ward 12 on March 18 at Old TMB office, for Ward no 13 at Khogeswar Path in Hari Mandir on March 20 and March 22, for Ward no 14 at Tili Kali Mandir on March 23,24 and March 27 and three collection centres will function for Ward no 15 on March 22-23 at Tamulbari Roy Dotor’s house, Mission Para Kali Mandir and Sharab Bhatti. It may be mentioned here that the tax payers owe more than 1.35 crores as tax to the TMB.
