Agartala, July 8: Tripura Civil Service officers demanded thorough investigation of the killing of their two colleagues, both of whom were working as Sub-divisional Magistrate, during the previous Left Front government.

A delegation of the Tripura Civil Services Officers Sangh met the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Alok Kumar and submitted a memorandum. They said incidents like killing of senior SDM's had shattered the confidence of the civil service officers and they were feeling insecure.

The then SDM, Sadar, Sukhram Debbarma was killed 10 years ago while he was coming out of his office which was situated within few hundred metres of the State secretariat and the State police headquarter. Sashi Mohon Debbarma, another TCS officer was killed while he was working as SDM Gandachera in a mysterious circumstance.
