Teachers’ agitation on March 18

GUWAHATI, Feb 26: The Assam Rajyik Prathamik Shikshak Sanmiloni (ARPSS) is going to stage a dhar on March 18 in front of the office of Sarba Sikhsha Abhiyan in the city this year in support of their various demands. The demands of the ARPSS include supply of textbooks, publication of the academic calendar, evaluation and exercise aid, supply of school uniform, release of funds for school infrastructure, cancellation of the directive to display the pictures of teachers in schools, announcement of the date of commencement of scholarship examition, release of funds for stipends, declaration of the results of the incomplete scholarship examitions of 2015 etc.
