Teer (Archery) Gambler Nabbed by Khetri Police in Guwahati

DIMORIA, Aug 8: The Khetri police led by its officer-in-charge Pradip Kumar Nath arrested one identified as Md Noorjaman Ali allegedly for being involved in teer gambling. Notably, accused Ali is said to be one of the hard-liners of teer gambling in the area. The police also seized some cash along with bundles of tickets used in the betting. Talking to The Sentinel, OC Nath said, “There’ve been complaints from the residents of the area against Ali following which he was arrested.”
