The Sentinel reporter injured

Shillong, June 1: The Sentinel reporter Melquire Laitphlang was injured while on duty late last night during the police-mob clash. Notwithstanding the wounds that he received, he pursued with his professional duties to actually know the exact situation related to the cause of the violence and area of occurrence. With head injury he was rushed to Shillong Civil Hospital where he received four stitches on his head. He is presently out of danger and ready to resume his duties.
