Three artistes injured in road mishap

GAON, May 15: Three artistes, including a female actor, were seriously injured in a road mishap on tiol Highway 37 near Puranigudam Garmur in gaon district in the wee hours of Friday. According to sources, a Bolero pick-up van (AS01 FC 7981) collided head-on with a Chevrolet car (AS01 AJ 3864) coming from opposite direction. Actors yan Nirban, Mayukh Sarma and Bhranti Medhi were in the Chevrolet vehicle. All the three were injured in the mishap. Locals helped the police to rush the injured persons to gaon SBP Civil Hospital. They trio was referred to Guwahati after prelimiry treatment, the sources added. The injured actors were travelling from Gohpur to Guwahati after a cultural function.
