Three car lifters arrested

PATHSALA, Oct 26: Bajali Police on Thursday morning arrested a gang of car thieves from MD Automobile workshop at Chandragar, Pathsala. In-charge Parthapratim Biswas along with a team of police personnel rushed to the spot and recovered two stolen vehicles, a Bolero pick-up vehicle (AS 19 AC 0158) and Reult Kwid (AS 19K 1161) and picked up Mozid Ali of Guwahati, Mokibul Islam of Bongaigaon and Noor Mohammed Khan of Bongaigaon. On interrogation, the accused persons stated that the Bolero car was stolen from West Bengal with the help of local thieves for sale in Manipur. In this regard, Patacharkuchi P.S case no- 752/17 under section 379/411/34 IPC was registered.
