Three-day social science exploratory project concludes

MARGHERITA, Jan 7: Vivekanda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag organised a three-day Social Science Exploratory Project at Vivekanda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tingrai. Total 19 VKVs from all over Assam and galand with 2,021 students participated in the Social Science Exploratory Project.

Mahaprabhu Sri Sri nigopaldev Goswami, Xattradhikar of Dhakinpath Xatra, Majuli, Sristidhar Dutta, Faculty of Social Science, Rajiv Gandhi University, and Pranjit Kumar Deka, General Mager of Oil India Limited Duliajan were present along with Pravin Dhabolkar, joint general secretary of Vivekanda Kendra Kanyakumari. The two-day presentation was followed by panel discussion on villages under the guidance of Dr Balin Hazarika, retired Professor of the Department of Political Science, J B College, Jorhat.

During the valedictory programme, Dr Sovarani Sarma, Prant Pramukh, Assam Prant, Vivekanda Kendra, Dilip Kumar Das, PRO (Head), Oil India Limited, Duliajan and R N Pathak were present. The students of VKV Golaghat, VKV Ramgar Silchar, VKV Bokuloni received the Best Performer awards while the other students were given proficiency and appreciation prizes. Kishor Chandra Mohara, Principal of host school VKV Tingrai and coorditor of the Social Science Exploratory Project, thanked all the eesource persons, students, guardians and others for making the programme successful.
