Three die in truck mishap, nine injured

BOKAKHAT, FEBRUARY 14: Three labourers died and nine others were injured when a truck bearing No- AS 13c 0026 carrying construction material from Guwahati rolled down in an attempt to move up a hill near Haldhibari in Karbi Anglong early on Saturday morning. The injured labours were sent to Jakhalabondha Hospital for treatment. Mithu Sahani (40) from Bihar, Robi Kurmi(27) and Sudev Sarker (26) from Cooch Behar were crushed by the loaded truck and died on the spot. The truck was carrying tiles for  construction work under Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council.
