Three KPLT rebels bbed at Bokajan

Bokajan, January 21: With Republic Day drawing close and possible threats looming around every corner, a joint team of Barpathar Police and security forces bbed three KPLT cadres at Bokajan in East Karbi Anglong district of Assam. Acting on a tip-off, the joint team conducted a search operation at Majung Teron Gaon under Barpathar Police Station and bbed one Winson Teron (26) along with a muzzle loaded rifle, a .22 pistol with three live ammunition and three live ammunition of AK-47 rifle in his possession. The arrested cadre was later interrogated and based on his information, the joint team conducted another raid in the Borea locality and successfully bbed two other cadres - Biren Engti (26) and Amus Ingti (45), thereby  recovering a .22 pistol with two live ammunition from their possession.
