Three minor boys drown in Sonitpur

Tezpur: In a tragic incident, three minor boys were drowned while bathing in a pond at Marabharali par area under Tezpur Sadar Police station in Sonitpur district on Friday afternoon. The children were identified as Joy Singh from Bhairab Nagar Tila (12), Gaurav Singh (11) and Ishan Mandal (11) from Ruberbagan area. Sources said that the boys, studying in Class 6 in Tezpur Bengali Boys High School, slipped into deep water while bathing and were drowned. Later, they were rushed to Kanaklata Civil Hospital but the doctor declared them dead.
