Three positions from Cachar in HS

Silchar, May 30: Three positions, 9th and 10th in Science stream from Ramanuj Gupta Junior College of Science, Arts and Commerce, Silchar, and 10th in Commerce stream from Vivekanda Junior College of Commerce, have been bagged by Cachar district in Science and Commerce streams in HS 2017 results which has been declared on Tuesday. Soumik Dey and Bishwarup Laskar of Ramanuj Gupta Junior College and Pankaj Kumar Saha of Vivekanda Junior College are the three position holders with a percentage of 94.6, 94.4 and 91.6 respectively.

9th rank holder Soumik Dey said that he wants to pursue medical studies at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Pankaj Kumar Saha aspires to be a chartered accountant. Bishwarup Laskar who bagged the 10th position is yet to decide his stream. Jabed Akhtar Choudhury and Soumik Dey have also secured the state highest mark in Mathematics with 99%. Jabed Akhtar Choudhury is also a student of Ramanuj Gupta Junior College.
