Three UPLA cadres arrested

Dibrugarh, June 8: Following specific input, Army’s 19 Jat Regiment and Tingkhong Police conducted a joint operation at Shimulguri on June 6 and bbed two males and one female UPLA cadre and recovered a number of arms and ammunition from their possession. The arrested UPLA cadres have been identified as Angresen Teron (18), son of Lonkee Teron, Kausabe, Manjha district and Lojor Manse (21), son of Jor Manse, Hidpi village of Karbi Anglong district. The arrested female cadre has been identified as Deepa Boro (28), daughter of Utendaro Boro of Podanpunkri. Two.22 mm pistols and 22 rounds of ammunitions were recovered from their possession. All the arrested persons were later handed over to Tingkhong Police station after a thorough interrogation. A case has been registered.
