Three wanted dacoits apprehended

GAON (HAIBORGAON), August 2:  gaon town police on Monday night apprehended three wanted dacoits and chain stchers from three separate areas of the town and also recovered a stolen Scooty from their possession.

According to sources, the three dacoits have been identified as  Sabir Hussain of Soukitup, Soukat Ray of 2 no Mulapatty and Hafizur Sheikh of Uttar Haiborgaon area of gaon town. The sources added that the bbed dacoits were involved in various cases of robbery and chain stching cases over the years and on Monday also they stole a Scooty from one nda Saikia and demanded Rs 30,000 from him.

But after his Scooty (AS02Q 0042) was stched, Saikia lodged an FIR in gaon Sadar police station and police meanwhile launched an emergency search operation in the entire town and subsequently apprehended the whole gang.
