Thunderstorm hits Golaghat

Golaghat, May 1: On Saturday night thunderstorm followed by heavy downpour hit many places of Golaghat district. As per the information, around 11.30 pm the wind began to blow and it became violent leading to destruction in Jamugudi, Nogora, Dolowjan, Falongani and many tea estate regions. More than 20 houses were damaged. Big trees were also uprooted. However, no human casualty was reported.
