Tiger captured

BOKAKHAT, February 7: In response to repeated demands of the local people, the Forest Department of Kohora has captured a female tiger from the Kaziranga Bheel. The tiger had killed nearly 20 domestic animals and caused panic among the villagers. According to the villagers, the tiger has two calves which remained untraced. The forest officials have shifted the tiger to the Wildlife Rescue Centre, Panbari for health check–up.  It will be sent to Guwahati Zoo soon.
